S3’s licensing and permitting platform is a browser-driven SaaS (Software as a Service)-based sales portal for traditional hunting and fishing licenses, permits, lottery, registrations, and additional product types deemed appropriate by the State.
These additional product types could include trapping permits, park reservations, boat registrations, burn permits, recreational vehicle licenses, online event registration, and much more. In addition to providing a common user experience for the purchase and delivery of license, permit, registration, and reservation products, our singular solution architecture design streamlines system operations as well as solution platform maintenance, support, and updates using a singular and agency-managed Administrative Console for all sales channels (retail POS, Online, Mobile, or Operator Assisted) simultaneously.
S3’s business rules engine is incredibly flexible. It offers 100% of all State agency product business rule requirements as part of our “off the shelf” solution. It enforces criteria and prerequisites for all product sales within the state agency system product catalog via the establishment of complex rules that regulate:
- Who can purchase catalog items
- Where those items can be purchased
- How many of a particular item can be purchased
- When the item is available throughout the year
- Pricing prerequisites/dependencies/co-dependencies of the item
- Reprintable items, item refunds & voids
- And many more
