Our Leadership Team



Eric Richey has more than 30 years of national and international business experience and a successful track record of technology leadership, business creation, distressed business recoveries, and managing hyper-growth business opportunities.

His entry into government tech came in 2006 when he was named CEO of Outdoor Central and led its recovery and successful business turnaround before its sale to Active Network.

Eric is very involved with numerous charities and civic organizations and events and is a partner in the two-time EMMY winning Sovereign Sportsman Network and Sovereign Outfitters organizations.

Among many items not widely known, he is an accomplished musician and was a record-holding track and field athlete in college.

Eric remains an avid outdoorsman striving for as many days in the field as possible each season. He and his wife Christi have six children and they reside in Smyrna, TN.

Eric earned his B.S. degree in Physics/Astrophysics from the University of Wyoming.



Rob Walker has almost 30 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate finance, and general management. He has worked in investment banking, commercial banking, private equity and has held operating management and financial roles with both early-stage and larger publicly traded companies.

Rob generously gives of his time as a business mentor, is active in several charities and his church has coached numerous youth sports and enjoys shooting sports, hunting and fishing.

Rob is also the managing partner of Crimson Ventures, an early-stage investment, and consulting company. He and his wife Joy have 3 teenaged children and the reside in Brentwood, TN.

Rob holds an MBA from Harvard University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Bill Creighton


Bill Creighton is an international business executive and award-winning journalist with significant experience transforming and growing global news, media, and technology companies.

His career spans more than 30 years, 76 countries and five continents, and he has twice been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.

Previously, Creighton led Dakota Partners, a strategic advisory firm providing strategic consulting services to technology companies and government agencies. Before that he was the inaugural President and CEO of the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports.

Bill is a keen outdoorsman with an appetite for upland bird hunting, fly fishing, sailing, and a bit of golf thrown in as well.

Bill and his wife Leah live near Tryon, N.C. with their two rescue dogs, one rescue cat, and a lot of rescue chickens.

Bill earned his B.S. degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.



Randall Forsha has 20+ years of hands-on experience developing and managing large national and international enterprise software solutions organizations, database and data warehousing projects and IT departments.

At Sovereign, he is responsible for all Sovereign’s tech teams and strategic technology initiatives including the architecture, construction, and extension of Sovereign’s delivery of federal, state and tribal licensing and permitting solutions. Previously, he has held technology leadership positions with Link2Gov, Outdoor Central, Bridgestone, and others.

Randall excelled in college athletics as a Middle Tennessee State University football player. He is very active in coaching youth sports and the outdoors where he learned to fish from his father, a commercial fisherman in Parsons, TN. He, his wife Kerri and their 3 children reside in Mt. Juliet, TN.

Randall earned a B.S. degree from the Lambuth University and he also attended Middle Tennessee State University.

Richard Bonazolli


Richard Bonazzoli is an accomplished technology executive with expertise leading national and international teams from 70 to 350.

His experiences include five years as Chief Technology Officer at One Technologies in Dallas; thirteen years as vice president, engineering and quality with Monster Worldwide in Prague and Boston; and ten years at Digital Equipment Corp.

In this newly created role, Bonazzoli is responsible for technology strategy and integration across all of Sovereign’s increasing number of products and services.

His passion is leading teams transforming ideas into products. The products brought to the market range from $1B SaaS software applications to custom-designed, client-specific B2C web and mobile apps on-prem and in the cloud.

Richard earned his B.S. degree from Emmanuel College in Boston in Business Management where he graduated with honors.

Robert C. Ramey


Bob Ramey brings 30+ years of state government and private business experience to Sovereign from the Department of Natural Resources / Conversation / Fish & Game solutions space.

Prior to joining Sovereign in 2012, Bob spent 21 years in leadership positions within the licensing industry most recently with Central Bank and Active Network. His depth of knowledge and experiences are well known throughout the industry.

Bob and his wife Judy reside in Columbia, Missouri.

Bob earned a B.S. degree from Missouri State University in Business Administration – Marketing.
