Eric Richey



Eric Richey has more than 30 years of national and international business experience and a successful track record of technology leadership, business creation, distressed business recoveries, and managing hyper-growth business opportunities.

His entry into government tech came in 2006 when he was named CEO of Outdoor Central and led its recovery and successful business turnaround before its sale to Active Network.

Eric is very involved with numerous charities and civic organizations and events and is a partner in the two-time EMMY winning Sovereign Sportsman Network and Sovereign Outfitters organizations. Among many items not widely known, he is an accomplished musician and was a record-holding track and field athlete in college.

Eric is an avid outdoorsman striving for as many days in the field as possible each season. He and his wife have six children and they reside in Smyrna, TN.

Eric earned his B.S. degree in Physics/Astrophysics from the University of Wyoming.

Rob Walker

Rob Walker


Rob Walker has 30 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate finance, and general management.

He has worked in investment banking, commercial banking, private equity and has held operating management and financial roles with both early-stage and larger publicly traded companies.

As a business mentor, Rob generously gives of his time and is active in several charities and his church. He has coached numerous youth sports and enjoys the shooting sports, hunting, and fishing.

Rob is responsible for S3's corporate finances as well as overseeing S3's operational activities.

He is also the managing partner of Crimson Ventures, an early-stage investment, and consulting company. He and his wife have 3 teenaged children and they reside in Brentwood, TN.

Rob holds an MBA from Harvard University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Bill Creighton

Bill Creighton


Bill Creighton is an international business executive and award-winning journalist with experience transforming and growing global news, media, and technology companies. His career spans more than 35 years, 76 countries, and five continents, and he has twice been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.

Prior to S3, Creighton led Dakota Partners, a strategic advisory firm providing strategic consulting services to technology companies and government agencies. He was the inaugural President and CEO of the Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports.

Bill is responsible for S3's corporate strategy, M&A activities, and marketing.

He is a keen outdoorsman with an appetite for upland bird hunting, fly fishing, sailing, and a bit of golf thrown in as well. Bill and his wife live in N.C. with their rescue dog, a rescue cat, and a lot of rescue chickens.

Bill earned his B.S. degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Richard Bonazzoli

Richard Bonazzoli


Richard Bonazzoli is an accomplished technology executive with expertise leading national and international teams from 70 to 350.

His experiences include five years as CTO at One Technologies in Dallas and thirteen years as VP, engineering, and quality with Monster Worldwide in Prague and Boston.

Richard is responsible for S3's technology strategy and integration across all of S3's increasing number of products and services.

His passion is leading teams transforming ideas into products. The products brought to the market range from $1B SaaS software applications to custom-designed, client-specific B2C web and mobile apps on-prem and in the cloud.

Richard earned his B.S. degree from Emmanuel College in Boston in Business Management where he graduated with honors.

Chris Willard

Chris Willard is a nationally recognized leader in the Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation (R3) movement with a broad national network of government, industry, and NGO supporters.

He spent 15 years with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife where he was most recently R3 Coordinator responsible for that agency’s recruitment and retention program planning and execution.

Chris is responsible for S3's state agency relationships, product development, and implementation teams, and will lead Sovereign’s efforts to grow fishing, hunting, camping, and Outdoor Recreation participation in partnership with Sovereign’s state and provincial clients.

Chris attended Oregon State University, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in Wildlife Sciences, and Business Administration and Marketing Management.

Eric Dinger



Eric Dinger serves as Vice President of Customer Engagement at S3, a new department designed to drive outdoor participation through partnerships with S3's state and provincial fish and wildlife agency partners.

He joined S3 in 2019 following our acquisition of Powderhook, the company he built the company from the ground up to solve the biggest problem facing the outdoor industry: declining participation.

Prior to Powderhook, Eric built and sold a brand and sales strategy consultancy with clients throughout the country. The company specialized in the franchise and industrials space, perfecting localization of campaigns for franchisees and distributors while executing the national brand strategy.

Eric earned his B.S degree in Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
